It is amazing what God has been putting on my heart during my morning runs (the work out kind, not the other kind) and this morning he reminded me of this commercial. Honestly, the last couple of weeks for me has been a spiritually "dry" time. I have been reading God's word but in preparation for a sermon. Then what I do is make excuses why I haven't been spending any time with him. There are so many different areas of our life that we make excuses for why we can't do it anymore because it has gotten too hard: marriages, eating right, working out, reading Gods word, relationships, friendships just to name a few. What ever God has put on your heart to do, Nike said it best "Just Do it" No Excuses!!

(RE: a "dry time")
And yet I would say that your messages during Next Level the last couple of weeks have been some of your best (saying that as someone that has heard all the ones you posted on iTunes)... it reminds me of a story I heard from RC Sproul the other day (via iPod - he and I don't usually chat) saying how he was preaching at this one church and he just felt like he didn't say anything right, felt very spiritually empty, and was almost embarrassed to go to the back of the church and do the usual post-sermon "glad-handing". Well, people kept coming up to him telling him what a powerful sermon it was, how moved they were by what he had to say, how they really felt the power and presence of the Spirit, etc.
And he realized that we shouldn't let our feelings ever obscure what we know to be true: God is always with us, and he will never leave us nor forsake us. So even though he didn't FEEL the presence of God, did not mean that He wasn't there using him to bring glory to His name.
Maybe you were spiritually dry because you weren't drinking the living water for yourself, but selflessly (no pun intended)sharing it with others... Something to think about.
I am the 5/6th grade pastor @ Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. I get to tell students how much God loves them and that he has a perfect plan for their life not matter what. I love traveling to speak at different places to tell people how great our God is. I love to play basketball and football.
